Thank you to everyone who came to the classes, practica and Milonga last week, we hope everyone had a great time! This week we’re progressing with our usual Tuesday and Thursday classes from 19:00 in the Zeeman Building Foyer. Come find us the 10th and 12th of March with our passionate and captivating teachers, Salim and Manny. Also for those interested, the live announcements regarding the elections will be made during the class. ☺️

Thank you to everyone who joined us at last weeks class and exclusive flamenco session, and a warm welcome to all of the new faces we’ve seen!💃
Keeping in with our regular weekly schedule , find us from 7pm onwards in the Zeeman building Foyer, Tuesday the 3rd of March for our tango fundamentals classes targeted at all levels. As ever, our inspirational teachers Salim and Manny will be there to help us. On Thursday the 5th however, we are running a práctica with a focus on social dancing etiquette (aka códigos). This a great chance to work on anything you’re struggling with and to dance for the love of it. Anyone hoping to social dance tango is highly encouraged to join!💫
One more thing, a gentle nudge and reminder, our membership and first class is totally free, so for any of our classes, invite a friend to try something new!☺️

Hola, Tangueros y Tangueras!🕺💃
Thank you to everyone who came to our Practica and class last week! We hope everyone is back and ready after reading week as we have several activities lined up this week. Firstly, find us in the Zeeman building Foyer for our regularly scheduled all-levels tango class on Tuesday the 24th from 19:00 with our supportive teachers, Salim and Manny. The day after, we will be holding a movie night in the social sciences building  Wednesday the 25th from 19:00 with the film/episodes starting closer to 19:30. We’ll be bringing snacks but bring your own if you’d like to, the content of choice will first be our Pizazz performance followed by some “Black Adder” following the recommendation of our ever-wise teacher, Salim. Last but definitely not least, our long anticipated beginner-friendly Flamenco Taster Session is right around the corner!💃 This Thursday the 26th, find us in the Westwood Dance studio from 19:00, bring socks, comfortable clothes and your smile! :) We hope to see you all soon, as ever, keep dancing!

We are glad to see so many of you enjoying our Tango Fundamentals classes every week! However, we are excited to announce that our Thursday 26th of February session will be hosting a Flamenco Taster Session!
This class will be taught by one of our Tango Exec members, who has been learning flamenco for years, and who will try her best to adapt to everyone’s level! We will focus our class on the very basis of this dance. Beginners are more than welcome to join us, so if you want to discover a new dance style, please come dance with us!
Come with socks, confortable clothes and your pretty smiles :)

As some of you know, this coming week will be a quiet reading week, but there is still Tango going on at your doorstep for those of you still here. We’ll be holding a very relaxed práctica/social dancing Tuesday the 17th in Zeeman building foyer, this is a fully free opportunity to get an impression of what tango looks and feels like, have a discussion about anything you saw in class and as the name suggests... Some big changes are coming to your tango society! We’ve reached a critical point in the year, as some of us exec will be finding new places to dance moving forward... It’s time we pass the mantle to our dear Tangueros y Tangueras! We’re announcing today the timeline for the exec elections, nominations for all roles will open in week 7 with final elections taking place in week 8. Hola, Tangueros y Tangueras !

It was great to see so many new faces at our first taster session !  Regrettably, next week on Tuesday the 27th, will be running our last tester session this term... 
This time, we will be in the Zeeman Building Foyer at 19:00 with ample floor space better suited for pivots we think this will be a great session. All of our exec and our excellent teachers, Manny and Salim, are very accommodating and understanding of new dancers.
Our Thursday class will be returning to our usual rotation in the Zeeman Building Foyer as well, these classes are targeted at all levels, as such beginners from taster sessions are welcome to join.

Reminder that membership is free alongside the first class, so feel free to invite friends to try something new this term.
We look forward to seeing all of you there again, and maybe some new faces too !

Across the next two weeks we will be running our term 2 taster sessions! These are free classes tailored for beginners by our ever understanding teachers, Salim and Manny.

These sessions will be running on Thursday the 22nd and Tuesday the 27th January from 7pm. We recommend you bring foot-wear for dancing, for some of us that can mean any low traction shoes... otherwise, bring your favourite pair of socks 😊. We accommodate dancers from all levels, if you have any doubts about trying argentine tango, please please please reach out to us on any of our platforms to see if it’s for you. Otherwise, come meet us Wednesday the 21st at the societies fair and ask our exec in person! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

However, our Tuesday class (which equally welcomes all levels) will be running in the Zeeman Building Foyer as usual, both from 7pm.
