PQA Young Screenwriter Competition

Do you have an idea for a short film? Want to see it brought to life on screen? Simply write a one page treatment for your chance to win the PQA Young Screenwriter Competition!

The PQA Young Screenwriter competition offers students the chance to have their short film script made by a professional crew. The winning student will be part of each step of the process, receiving mentorship from a screenwriter to complete their script. The script will then go into production with the winner shadowing the director on set. Additional students from their academy will also get the opportunity to shadow heads of department during filming.

Deadline - Sunday 19th July 2026.

❄️ A magical announcement just snowed in from Elsa… ❄️

Poppets, get ready to let it go and step into a world of snow, song, and sparkle! ⛄️✨

Our Poppets are about to embark on a Frozen-inspired project and mini show, filled with all your favourite moments, music, and characters from Frozen ❄️

It’s official, ALL of our students will now be part of the magical Frozen journey at Academy ☃️💙

We can’t wait to begin this enchanting adventure with you next week, Poppets…

🌟 WOW 🌟 Across our Academies we raised a whopping £600 for Alzheimer’s Research UK, in support of Charlie’s Trek for a Cure 🧡
