🦆’Duck’ devised by Kate Thomson
One ducks adventure into the wild. An absurd expedition of race. This multidisciplinary, one woman piece is a hilarious, abstract exploration of the mixed-race lived experience, told through the eyes of a duck. Using music, contemporary movement and verbatim text, prepare yourself as you accompany Duck on a whirlwind adventure.
🤹’The Puppeteer’ devised by Aaron Green, Mary Bonam, Tom Bonam, Martha Kent, and Alex Turner.
'The Puppeteer' explores the comparison between puppetry and caring for elderly people. Larry, a care home worker by day and a budding puppeteer by night, learns the principles of puppetry and through this, discovers the similarities between puppetry and human life. Three actor puppeteers and a live musician on stage tell this intimate and bittersweet story.
