These two Elvis coasters were customer orders… a little bit of the King for someone’s coffee table! 🎤🖤

A little story behind these coasters… ❤️

A lovely gentleman came over to my stall at the market and showed me his tattoo, asking whether I could create a similar design in watercolour on a pair of slate coasters…

I started them before heading off on holiday, and today they’re finished…🥰

Soft red poppies with the words of In Flanders Fields behind them… taking inspiration from his tattoo and turning it into a personal remembrance design…❤️

This is one of my favourite parts of what I do… seeing an idea become something you can hold in your hands!

My wolf vase has settled into its new home with Hazel… and doesn’t it look beautiful filled with those pink and white flowers? 🌸🐺

There’s a little piece of my heart in everything I create, so seeing my pieces being loved and enjoyed in your homes means such a lot…
I get quite attached to them while I’m working on them, so it’s lovely to see where they end up!

Sneaky little peek at what I was working on today… 👀

These two white-painted slate coasters were an order…
bringing together wartime aircraft, soft watercolour skies and those beautiful red poppies…✈️

There’s a lot of meaning in these little pieces…The poppies represent remembrance, while the aircraft pay tribute to the courage of those who took to the skies…
Remembering those who served, those who never came home, and the families whose lives were changed forever…❤️

I’ve loved bringing these designs together. Hopefully, they’ll offer a little moment to pause and remember, even while sitting down with a cuppa…

Happy Tuesday, my lovelies… we’re back! 🏡💕

Which means the unpacking has begun, the washing machine is working overtime and I’m wondering how we managed to bring back twice as much as we took…😂🧺

We’ve had such a lovely little break and it was definitely much needed…A chance to recharge and enjoy some lovely family time…

Poor Ruby is thoroughly depressed… no more beach walks or runs with me…🐾
She’s definitely not impressed with this “back to normal” business… I think she’d have us packed up and heading straight back if she could…😂

Tomorrow it’s back to creating! I’ll be finishing all those projects I started before we went away… and, of course, I’ve come home with a head full of exciting new ideas too…🎨✨

My first market back will be this Friday at Bedworth, and I’m really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces again…

How on earth are we already at the last Friday of August?…😳

The last Friday of the summer holidays… and the last one before it’s back to alarms, school runs, and reality! …🫣

These holidays have absolutely flown by, and I’m definitely not ready for the usual morning madness just yet!

Well… it looks like the whole country is getting a free shower today! 😂🌧️

We’ve gone from being slow-cooked in an extreme heatwave to being power-washed by full-on thunderstorms…there’s certainly no gentle in-between with this weather! 🥵⛈️

So here are a few beautiful pictures from the calm before the storm last night… gorgeous sunny Wales…🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I must admit, I do love listening to the rain tapping on the camper when you’re all warm and cosy inside… until you remember somebody has to take Ruby out…😂🐶

The friend is me…😂

But in my defence… it contains milk, the honeycomb is basically cereal and the cone is practically toast—so I’d say I’ve absolutely nailed a balanced breakfast! 🤣🍯

Ruby sat beautifully beside the honey pot pretending not to judge me… although I’m sure she was only smiling because she thought she might get some! 🐶😂

Holiday rules: if the sun is shining and the ice cream shop is open, it would
be rude not to! ☀️🍦

Happy Monday, you lovely lot! ☀️💛

A little break away to recharge before it’s back to work… so naturally, I decided a morning run would be relaxing! 😂🏃‍♀️

First one done ✅
The views were breathtaking—and so was the run, quite literally!
It nearly killed me…😂
I went out hoping to feel fit and energised and came back looking like I’d been fighting for my life…

But sunshine, sea views and fresh air are just what I needed…
Once my legs forgive me, I’ll be fully recharged and ready to get back to work! ✨

Hope your Monday has started a little less painfully than mine! 😂
