Working on a series, , looking at the effect music has on subconscious creation. I have been creating painting abstract and impressionist art for over 25 years. Working in mental health has encouraged me to experiment with automatism and subconscious paintings.

If the viewer isn't given a prescribed interpretation, a work can become so much more meaningful and personal. I love not knowing the outcome before I start to paint, and I love saying to viewers, "What can YOU see here?" It starts so many enlightening conversations.
