Freshblood Presents: Mess “Mess” is a play written by Charlotte Paradise. It will be performed in the Warwick Arts Centre from 1st-4th March 2017 (Week 8 Term 2).

Today we have Angus Wu, our assistant producer:

Angus is a third year theatre and performance studies student and has been heavily involved in different theatre and dance societies. Back in Hong Kong, Angus helped with publicity and marketing in a theatre company called Children Music Theatre, and he had learned various effective and creative tactics to promote a production. He also marketed plays such as The White Snake (WUDS), Cabaret (MTW) and is currently marketing As You Like It (WUDS) and Follies (MTW). Angus was also a cast member of Merry Widow, Anything Goes and is currently rehearsing for Follies.

Here's Angus's rather painful but hilarious toilet story:

'I was at a summer camp once and I cried in the toilet cause the p**p was so solid it hurt.'

Poor Angus! We hope that's never happened to those of you auditioning for Mess! Make sure you sign up to auditions, less than a week to go!

This evening we're introducing Hanna Panton, our brilliant producer:

Hanna is a third year Theatre and Performance studies student. The first time Hanna read the play she loved it,so is very thankful to be a part of it. She's excited to work with such a fantastic team and can't wait to see how the show evolves over the next few weeks.

Here' one sleepy story of Hanna's: set in the bathroom: 'I once fell asleep in the bath for a few hours. My mum was trying to check if I was ok but my ears were underwater. Of course everyone got very panicky and I was completely oblivious. Luckily, just as they were about to knock down the door I woke up. I should say 'and that's the last time I slept in the bath' but that would be lying.'

We're glad she woke up! It's less than a week to go to auditions, don't forget to sign up!
