is the new Engage Director, and will start in February 2026.
She brings a wealth of experience in arts leadership, community engagement, and strategic development. She has held senior roles at Lakeland Arts, where she led innovative programs connecting heritage and contemporary art, and at The Turnpike, where she championed artist development and inclusive participation. Her work has consistently focused on creating meaningful opportunities for communities to engage with visual arts.
As Director, Helen will lead Engage into an exciting new chapter, focusing on strengthening its role as a national voice for visual arts education and participation. She will oversee the delivery of Engage’s ambitious programs, advocate for sector-wide collaboration, and ensure that visual arts remain accessible and relevant to diverse audiences.
