30 years ago today I started Hulme Academy of Dance!
Sadly we didn’t quite make that ‘birthday’, but I have many happy memories of lovely children, some of whom I’m still in touch/ friends with. I even taught children of, some of those children. We had many adventures with shows, displays, visiting teachers, workshops, exams, competitions, fun days and parties along the way.
I hope everyone has as many happy memories of fun times as I have and some of you may still come and join me at Turning Pointe dance academy where I now teach acrobatics and tap.

I’m not reopening the dance academy,
but I am teaching tap and acrobatics at Turning Pointe Dance Academy. If anyone is keen to join us, let me know 👍🏼

Today we have had some girls take their primary tap exam.
They maintained the academy’s 100% pass rate in UTD exams and all passed.
Great work girls, now onto the ballet, before Christmas!

Exams allow the children to make progress and build confidence in a safe, disciplined environment. All much needed skills for their futures.
Your child could share that with us as well.

It’s half term next week, so enjoy a week off, but don’t forget everything as we have a busy half term when we return.

It’s a bank holiday weekend. Don’t forget studio is closed on Monday but we’re back and raring to go on Wednesday and ready to welcome new students.
First week is free so bring your child along age 3+
