Our after school nature makers have had fun in the rain this week, foraging to make colourful ladybird homes for their mini clay ladybirds to live in!

Did you know that going for a walk on a rainy day can be good for you?
Scientists have discovered that rain can make us happy and improve our mental health.

When rain splashes on the ground, some of the molecules that make up the air pick up an electron and become negatively charged ions. When we inhale them, it is thought they can help to relieve stress and even boost our energy levels….

So perfect for after school Nature Makers who have been inside all day!
