Victoria Barfield trained at Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall and has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and at an exclusive exhibition for HRH The Queen. She trained as an Art educator at Bath Spa University and has inspired young people and adults in a wide range of settings including teaching Art in Kenya, being Head of Art near Ascot UK, running workshops at 'Creation Fest' a Christian Creative Arts festival in Cornwall and supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties for Christian Charity TLG. Feeling floaty after the most incredible silence and singing retreat yesterday, meditating through woodlands, by a river and in a cave. It blew my mind to be fully in the now, feeling love pulsing through my feet out to the world, feeling the energy of the water flow through me and journeying into magical lands imagining hummingbirds weaving colourful sparkly webs of love above honey flavoured waterfalls (promise I was sober). I came home to this pathway looking just as magical and was reminded that we take these worlds within us wherever we go 🥰💖🦋🌳🍂✨

The big 40 is almost here and after months of dreading it, I'm finally really excited! I get to leave all the nonsense of "supposed to's" and "expectations" of life milestones and achievements to reach by 40 behind, I've missed the "deadline" 😂 So instead I'm free to enjoy just being ME, being present and step into all the blessings right here and ahead. Life begins at 40 🥰💚💕🌼🌻🥳✨

Glimpses of Glory ✨

All this beauty and wonder of spring, are but mere glimpses of the glory we will one day see in heaven 💖🙏✨

'Angel in the Mist' here to gracefully welcome the season with peace 🕊️

Sometimes I would see this beautiful angelic pure white egret silently swooping across bleak English winter countryside on my walks during lockdown. Every time, it felt so magical and I felt so privileged, like I'd seen an angel and a ray of hope.

I read these words this week, I thought they are beautiful to meditate on alongside this image:
'Instead of finishing the year strong, why don't we finish the year soft? Why don't we finish the year restful and grateful for making it through yet another crazy cycle on this earth' -
