Ready to make a wave? 🌊🎶

To mark the UN International Day of Peace, people around the world will gather to sing at the same local time. As one choir finishes, another takes up the song in the next time zone, creating a wave of music that travels around the globe.

So join us at The Glasshouse on Sunday 20 September as we add our voice to this worldwide celebration, with a special choral performance by Together In Harmony on The Concourse.

Whether you sing along, listen or simply pause for a moment, come and be part of something that reaches far beyond the banks of the Tyne.

Powerful sound needs powerful kit.

As our Capital Works power on through the summer, we’ve been replacing our orchestral risers with automated mechanical lifts and shifting our choir risers onto a wheeled track system. These risers are what help us position musicians on the stage at different heights, optimising how sound is projected out into the hall and into your ears in the audience.
