I recently discovered some delicious scraps of old wallpaper when we ripped out an old built in cupboard in our bedroom, it made me wonder about who put it up, and when. Our house is inching towards its centenary, it survived the second world war in a naval city that was very much a target. It's made me think about who could have lived here during those times and how they lived. I'm curious to find out more. But in the mean time, I thought it would be nice to use it as the inspiration for a bedding collection, here's a snippet! "Nostalgia" available for licensing very soon.

Happy New Year..Happy New Flu! Responding to Jehane's first Golden Thread prompt of 2026 with a welcome nod to the vat of delicious Mediterranean Cabbage soup that I thankfully made, it's kept us all going! Full of delicious and healthy veggies, ginger, garlic, lemon and spices, I think it sits well with the Scandi folk theme and the inspiration from the beautiful world of Turi Gramstad, celebrating the every day little joys.
