Let's Dance, Dance Studio Dance Studio, Principals: Simon & Michelle Eastick Let's Dance, Dance Studio is owned and operated by Simon and Michelle Eastick.

Simon is a fully qualified dance teacher with the New Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers (NZFDT) in Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue dance styles, while his wife Michelle has passed all amateur exams to an honours level, up to 1st Bar to Gold Cross in all 3 styles of dance. Simon has 28 years experience as a professional dance teacher, prior to which he competed as an amateur dancer for 9

years, becoming a National finalist in all 3 styles. After turning professional, Simon trained finalists and winners in all 3 styles. Our previous studio, in Hamilton, NZ was one of Hamilton's largest and most successful dance studios. Simon myself & our two youngest children Jessica and Mark, emigrated to Banff, Scotland in February 2020, right before lockdown for COVID began. We have noticed that there are not very many options in the local area for Ballroom and Latin American dancing. So, we have decided to start up 'Let's Dance' here, to give those who want to learn to dance socially, a fun, friendly and casual environment to learn in. We specialise in teaching from the very beginning, so there is no need to have any prior knowledge. Our aim is to give every student a sound basis for their dancing in a fun, friendly and safe environment, and can take each student as far as they want in their dancing.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended the Spring Ball last night. It looked and sounded like you were all enjoying yourselves. Thanks also to my amazing kids who always have my back, and to their wonderful friends who all helped me get the food out into the hall, and with the clean up afterwards. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Very much appreciate all your help.
Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets. We sold £210 worth of tickets to donate to Public Access Defibrillators, a group of volunteers who act as Community First Responders for the Scottish Ambulance Service. So that is great. I'm sure they will appreciate it.
Our next Dance Social will be our New Zealand Themed Social which will be on Saturday 27th June. So put that date in your calendar. Have a great week everyone. 🥰💃🏻🕺
