Northamptonshire Day is heading to Kettering on 25 October 2026 - and we're looking forward to being a big part of it.

Last year, we saw what this event can do, filling Northampton Market Square with energy, colour and community spirit. This year, it's coming closer to home - and we want to be there.

Because an event like this only works when the community shows up.

Want to be part of it too? Local businesses, organisations and community groups are being invited to join as exhibitors - a great chance to meet new people, connect with others, and celebrate everything that makes our county great.

Interested? Register your interest here and be among the first to hear about exhibitor opportunities:

Today Matt and Billy met at the beautiful Kirby Hall , where Site Manager Jan Vandeburie gave us a fantastic tour of the site.

It had been many years since our last visit, and we were reminded just how special this place is - architecturally, historically, and visually. We can wholeheartedly recommend Kirby Hall as a must-visit destination; it really doesn't disappoint.

If you're in the area, don't miss the Photography Day at Kirby Hall tomorrow - see the poster below for details!

A huge thank you to our friends at Alfred East Gallery for hosting a fantastic Corby and Kettering Roman Pop-Up as part of this year's Roman Fest at The Chester House Estate ! ๐ŸŽ‰

Visitors could get hands-on with crafts, discover fascinating facts, and learn more about local history - all while soaking up the atmosphere of our biggest and best-attended Roman Fest yet.

It's brilliant to see our local heritage sites working together to bring events like this to life, and we couldn't have done it without the support of the team at Alfred East Gallery

Here's to many more Roman Fests to come - and don't forget, the Alfred East Gallery is reopening soon, so keep an eye out for more exciting things from them! ๐Ÿ‘€

Thank you again for being such a wonderful part of the weekend. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Corby Heritage Centre was pleased to attend the Midland Parks Forum on Thursday at the historic Cromford Mills. The event, delivered by The Arkwright Society and the Forum, focused on partnership working, income generation and embracing new ways of thinking within the heritage sector.

The guided tours of High Peak Junction, The Pump House and Middleton Top Engine House were fantastic, each one showcasing the rich industrial history that makes Cromford such a special place.

Thank you to everyone at the Midland Parks Forum and across the Cromford sites for such a warm and memorable visit โ€” rain and all. And yes, a piece of proper Wensleydale from the Cheese Shop made the perfect finale.
