For 16 years now The Hub has encouraged and promoted the incredible talent we have in our local community.
From evening events in The Hub to the wonderful display of talent we put on the Burnavon stage every year.
4 local choirs, filled with mum’s, dad’s, son’s, daughter’s, friend’s, who come together once a week, and show true dedication. It’s great for each of them to show off their talent and how amazing they are.
Friday 12th June 8pm, they will all come together on the Burnavon stage bringing a night of music, laughter and fun compèred by Carol Doey.

Today is finally the day! The choir has poured their hearts and souls into learning the repertoire for tonight. Today marks the anniversary of 90 years of community singing 🎉. This morning, Meta & Cindy proudly presented a cheque for £1,500 to Alzheimer's Society (proceeds from our recent Spring Concert at the Glenavon Hotel, received by representatives Moira and Pamela)

Cookstown Youth Choir (C*C) was founded in 2008 with the aim of bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds across the community. Drawing its membership from throughout the Mid Ulster area, the choir provides vocal training and a wide range of performance opportunities, nurturing musical talent while building confidence in a supportive and creative environment. Over the years, C*C has been proudly supported by Mid Ulster Council, enabling the choir to continue its valuable work within the community and to broaden access to choral music for young people.

Under the direction of Musical Director Meta Bell, with Cindy Yung as accompanist, C*C has enjoyed considerable public success and has built a strong reputation for musical excellence and engaging performances. The choir regularly performs at concerts and community events and has had the opportunity to perform alongside many acclaimed artists, including The New York Tenors, The Celtic Tenors, Margaret Keys, Deirdre Masterson, and Peter Corry.
