We've finally got the downstairs lounge to a place we're happy with, new high tables at the back, the benches were ok but these are a much better fit, perfect for evening drinks and cocktails and enjoying the live music. They work really well for enjoying a leisurely coffee and a slice of cake too and plenty of traditional seating for enjoying brunch during the day.
I have to say it really looks good now, cafe by dar, bar and music venue at the weekend. so if you hear me mention any idea of changing the furniture again feel free to put a restraining order on me 🤣

Remember this Saturday night way back in March? it was just the best. Well he's back 🎉
The awesome Lee Harrison Music is in the lounge this Saturday for an evening of fabulous acoustic music.
Always the best night when Lee joins us so you know where you need to be.
Table bookings accepted, walk ins also very welcome.

Teams of up to four people and 90 minutes to complete your puzzle, It sounds mad but it's great fun 😅
You don't have to be a puzzle expert to join in. And last month all our teams finished within the 90 minutes.

Well that was a rather gorgeous, folkish Sunday afternoon 🥰
We've been hosting live music for almost a year now and the range of genres and artists we've had has been amazing. We've learnt loads, made amazing new friends, danced, sang, sometimes we even have to work really hard 🤣 but I'm eternally grateful to all of you that choose to spend your leisure time with us and honoured that artists of such calibre that we have in the North East want to come and play for us. Long may it continue 🙏
Looking after you this weekend has been pretty much the entire TL team (apart from Hannah because I decided to spare her 🤣)

Well that was a brilliant Saturday night 😍 A packed lounge, with everyone enjoying some truly brilliant live music courtesy of The Whistle Testers aren't they just the best, such a classic set list.
You kept us so busy though I didn't get to do any dancing, and I hardly got the chance to take my usual plethora of videos and photos 🥺 (but it's not all about me 😂) Thank you to everyone who chose to spend their Saturday evening with us, it was a pleasure looking after you all.

✨ TOGETHER APERITIVO ✨

Inspired by the Italian tradition of aperitivo, it’s those lovely hours during the late afternoon, a chance to slow down, enjoy a drink and share a few delicious bites before the evening begins.

Every Saturday from 4pm–6pm, you can choose from one of our spritzes, a medium glass of house w**e or an Italian l***r, accompanied by your own Italian-inspired aperitivo board.

🍹 Aperitivo for one — £10.95
🥂 Aperitivo for two — £20.95

Our boards include a selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives, tomatoes, pickles and bread with oil and balsamic—plenty to enjoy with your drink, while still leaving room for dinner later!

Then, if you’d like to stay, Saturday Lounge Live begins at 7pm with free live music and no tickets required.

I'm always shifting things around 🤣 and we've a little furniture shuffle!

We've given the area beside our bar a fresh new look, swapping our traditional tables for cosy high tables and comfortable stools to create a more relaxed, sociable space.

Perfect for catching up over a glass of w**e, enjoying a cocktail (or two! 😉), or settling in for our Saturday afternoon Aperitivo and evening live music.

Our usual café and dining areas are still here, with plenty of traditional seating downstairs and upstairs.

I'm always looking for ways to make Together Lounge an even lovelier place to spend time, and I love how this new arrangement gives our café bar a little more of that relaxed lounge feel. ❤️
