Some of our amazing Comp Squad headed off to Cotgrave on Sunday for their last competition before we break up for our 2 week summer break next week and what a day it was! 🥳 (Although not much of break as we start straight back at it as soon as we get back! 🤣)

We had some brilliant results, including semi finalists, finalists and grade points gained! 🏆👏

But, as always, it’s about so much more than the results. We were incredibly proud to see fantastic dancing, determination, resilience and team spirit from everyone throughout the day. 💪❤️

A special shout out to our finalists, who had to conquer those nerves and dance all on their own for the coveted solo spot! They absolutely smashed it, delivering some beautiful fast and slow solo spots, what a proud moment! 🌟

And of course, we can’t forget our very own “Bouncer” Suzie, who took home a special trophy for Crowd Control! 😂🏆

Well done Comp Squad you were fabulous! 🌟

💜✨ What a fantastic day at MV Events! ✨💜

We may have only had a small squad out today, with just 9 dancers, but wow… what a mighty team they were! 💪💃

We’re so proud to celebrate some incredible achievements:
🌟 4 grade points gained
🌟 A grade change, meaning we now have a brand new Under 12 Slow Intermediate dancer! 🎉
🌟 Intermediate Dancer of the Day 🏆
🌟 Judge’s Choice Award 👏
🌟 Battle of the Schools Runner Up 🥈

Every single dancer worked their socks off, supported each other and represented our school beautifully. ❤️ We had such a lovely day filled with smiles, and some very happy tears!

We couldn’t be prouder of you all, you are absolute superstars! ⭐💜 Keep shining, keep believing, and keep dancing! 💃✨

Due to the heatwave reaching its peak today we have decided tonight’s classes (Thursday 25th) won’t be running. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, we’ve decided it’s the safest option for today’s lessons.

☀️🔥 What a scorcher of a day for our Comp Squad in Nottingham at the Midlands Area Championships! 💃🏆

The standard of dancing today was absolutely phenomenal, and our dancers represented Shaftesbury beautifully! ❤️ From call backs to semi finals and finals, every single one of you danced amazingly! 👏✨

A huge shoutout to our newest Under 12 Fast Intermediate dancers 🌟 and our newest Under 14 Champ, 🏅both dancing fantastically in their finals and making us so proud!

We couldn’t be prouder of you all, especially dancing your hearts out in that heat today! ☀️🥵💖

💃✨ Talk about busy weekends!! ✨💃

Not only did our amazing Show Dance Team perform like true professionals at Astbury Mayday 🌧️👏 dancing their hearts out in the rain, but our Comp Squad were then up early doors on Sunday morning heading to Nottingham! 🚗🏆

An early start and an even later finish… but the results were absolutely outstanding!! 🌟

🏅 Personal bests achieved⭐ 5 grade points gained🔥 2 brand new grade changes

Huge congratulations to our new:💥 U12 Fast Solo Intermediate👑 U14 Champ

We are SO proud of every single dancer for their hard work, dedication and team spirit this weekend ❤️

On the 12th of April, our dancers were out competing in Altrincham, and what a fantastic day it was!

We came away with some amazing results, but even more importantly, it was incredible to see the progress each dancer has made. Their hard work, commitment, and determination are shining through every time they step onto the floor, and we couldn’t be prouder.

2 very special shoutouts, one to our newest member, Gracie, who competed for the very first time! You did an amazing job, and we are so proud of how well you performed!

And secondly to Jake for winning one of the judges choices award!! Absolutely amazing ⭐️

Well done to all of our dancers for representing us so beautifully 🥰

Roll on bank holiday weekend, a full 2 days of fun and fierce dancing lies ahead in sunny (we hope 🤞🏻) Boston!
