Coming up at Daneside Theatre this week:

Sunday evening @ 7pm. Film: H is for Hawk(12A) starring Claire Foy as a bereaved daughter who sets out to train a goshawk. A record of a spiritual journey, H IS FOR HAWK is a story about memory and nature and how it might be possible to reconcile death with life and love.

Wednesday matinee Film: The Magic Faraway Tree(U). A retelling of the beloved The Faraway Tree series of novels for children, THE MAGIC FARAWAY TREE follows Polly and Tim and their children Beth, Joe and Fran – a modern family who find themselves forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. Soon after their arrival, with no Wi-Fi or electricity to charge their treasured electronic gadgets, the children must develop an interest in the great outdoors. Exploring the natural world around their new home, the children discover a magical tree and its extraordinary and eccentric residents, including cherished characters Moonface, Silky, Dame Washalot and Saucepan Man. At the top of thetree, they are transported to spectacular and fantastical lands, and, through the joys and challenges of their adventures, the family learn to reconnect and value each other for the first time in years. The Queen Story: A Tribute to Queen
A one-of-a-kind Tribute to Queen.
A two-hour show telling the story of Queen through the eras from their early shows in the 1970's, right through to the stadium performances of the 1980's including a recreation of Queen's legendary Live Aid set. Featuring fantastic musicianship and authentic costumes, this show is not to be missed.
Playing all of Queen's Greatest Hits such as Killer Queen, Somebody to Love, Radio Gaga and of course, Bohemian Rhapsody, this superb tribute is "guaranteed to blow your mind!"

Tribute Bands at Daneside Theatre this Spring.

We are please to announce the following Tribute bands are at Daneside in the next few months:
Sat 21st Feb Beatles Complete
Sat 28th Feb Sensation - ABBA Tribute Band
Sat 7th March The Queen Story
Sat 2nd May Legends of Motown
All shows begin at 7.30pm. Tickets are £23 each.

Tickets are selling well for these amazing bands. Don't delay, get your tickets ASAP.

Daneside Theatre is a 300 seat auditorium, with raked seating ensuring a good view from all seats.
We have a reasonably priced bar that is open from 30 minutes before the show, and closes about 30 minutes after the end. You may take drinks into the auditorium as long as you ask for a plastic "glass".
