The Queen Story: A Tribute to Queen
A one-of-a-kind Tribute to Queen.
A two-hour show telling the story of Queen through the eras from their early shows in the 1970's, right through to the stadium performances of the 1980's including a recreation of Queen's legendary Live Aid set. Featuring fantastic musicianship and authentic costumes, this show is not to be missed.
Playing all of Queen's Greatest Hits such as Killer Queen, Somebody to Love, Radio Gaga and of course, Bohemian Rhapsody, this superb tribute is "guaranteed to blow your mind!"

Tribute Bands at Daneside Theatre this Spring.

We are please to announce the following Tribute bands are at Daneside in the next few months:
Sat 21st Feb Beatles Complete
Sat 28th Feb Sensation - ABBA Tribute Band
Sat 7th March The Queen Story
Sat 2nd May Legends of Motown
All shows begin at 7.30pm. Tickets are £23 each.

Daneside Theatre is a 300 seat auditorium, with raked seating ensuring a good view from all seats.
We have a reasonably priced bar that is open from 30 minutes before the show, and closes about 30 minutes after the end. You may take drinks into the auditorium as long as you ask for a plastic "glass".

Have you heard about Congleton Community TV?
Its a new group of enthusiastic, and talented local people who are about to launch with a regular output of Congleton based "TV". They will "broadcast" via social media with 4 hours of content per month. The content will =be made up of 15 minute segments from different parts of the community.

Daneside Theatre has been asked to find a presenter for one of those 15 minute slots to present a "What's On in Congleton" for the upcoming month.
We've been unable to find anyone who has the available time to commit to do that, so I'm putting out a call to our audiences, to see if there is anyone in the wider Daneside family who would like to do this?

Congleton Community TV has arranged to use the podcast facility in TMC (The old Woolworths building) at the top of Market Street), so you don't need any equipment, just a little bit of preparation, and 15 minutes to sit down and talk. Daneside will provide you with a list and description of everything that's on at the Theatre i the next few weeks, and will help you to get information together from other groups in the town. Its been suggested that you could have other people who are producing shows, or members of cast in as guests, so you are not on your own. Essentially, sit and chat with someone for 15 minutes, talking about what's coming up.
