Our very own Otto Frank, played by Richard Burkard is SO absorbed in his role that over the weekend he rode himself and his son all the way to Amsterdam to visit the real Anne Frank House on his motorbike! ❤️

What an incredible way to connect with the story, the history and the character he is bringing to life on stage. Richard even managed to get a photo outside the house with his script.

He has been absolutely incredible in the role of Otto and his dedication to bringing this story to life is something really special 🎭❤️

Today marks 82 years since Anne Frank and her family were discovered in hiding.

As a cast and production team, we take great pride and responsibility in telling Anne’s story with the care, respect and humanity it deserves. Her words continue to inspire generations, reminding us of the resilience of the human spirit, the importance of hope and the devastating consequences of hatred.

Today, we pause to remember Anne, her family and the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust. May we never forget their stories and may we continue to share them so that future generations will remember too.

🎭✨ And so it begins… ✨🎭

Last night we officially kicked off The Diary of Anne Frank with our first cast and crew get-together and what a brilliant evening it was!

With snacks in hand, we settled into the auditorium for a film night, handed out scripts, unveiled our exciting set plans (keeping a few surprises up our sleeves! 🤫) and started bringing this incredible story to life.

The excitement is definitely building and we already know this is going to be such a special production.

Now… bring on our first proper rehearsal tomorrow night! We can’t wait! ❤️🎬
