The Moving Tribe_art a tribal community for those with aphasia + acquired brain injury, working together creatively to help + learn

From The Moving Tribe Art;
we feel that Art therapy is seen as one of the most effective therapeutic pathways for any individual experiencing difficulties with verbal communication, whether these difficulties are physical, psychological or cognitive. The majority of therapeutic pathways available are talking therapies.
*Talking therapies are ineffective* for those that are unable to verbally expr

ess inner thoughts + emotions after brain injury. Creative arts therapies can help individuals to explore thoughts + emotions that cannot be spoken and can be an incredibly powerful and a non-threatening way to identify, process + express traumatic experiences and complex emotional states
