Thanks to Oonagh Linden Art and Yoga for a great evening of fast and furious journal making! Despite being quite a big group, we all went home with a finished book!

A great fun way to spend our last meeting before our summer break.

Huge congratulations to The Goose Coffee House on winning the best non licensed premises for the second year running in the Ards Business Awards. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and something sweet, I can vouch for the something sweet! Thanks to Avril for allowing Kilmood Art Club to display their work, we have just changed paintings so maybe time for your next visit?

☀️☀️ We need your help towards our new Summer Projects! ☀️☀️

We’re getting ready for some exciting summer projects and we couldn’t be more excited! Before we get started, we want to make sure we have plenty of creative supplies to make everything extra special – and this is where you can help 💛

We are currently looking for donations of scrapbook, collage & card making supplies such as:

- Unused scrapbooks / journals
- Washi tape
- Craft paper / card
- Stickers
- Old birthday or Christmas cards (perfect for cutting up!)
- Stamps & ink
- Double-sided tape
- Brush pens & fineliners
- Stencils
- Glitter pens / gel pens
- Plastic storage boxes of all sizes

If you have anything you’d be happy to donate, we would be so grateful! 🙏

📍 Drop-off details for this week:
- Charity shop – Monday from 10am till 3pm
- Warehouse base (old Molly Browns building):
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8.30am – 2pm
- Friday: 8.30am – 1pm

We’ll be sharing details about our summer projects very soon – we just want to make sure we’re fully stocked first!

Thanks to Gemma Blakely - Fine Artist for a great demo in acrylics last night. Facinating to see this piece go from initial blocking in to gradually more opaque layers. Interesting thoughts on putting darks in first to add depth. And the most organised brushes we have seen!

Thanks to My Gallery. Duxy Leahy for a facinating and entertaining demo of landscape in acrylics last night. Lots of interesting tips and ideas, there will no doubt now be a peak in demand for fan brushes! Amazing to watch this take shape in such a short time.
