We had a FANTASTIC day on Saturday performing at the annual Colne Gala! ☀️🕺

✨PRESCHOOL ACRO AND DANCE✨

Our Tuesday morning preschool class have been working very hard in their Acro class! 🤸

Each week we have so much fun singing songs, dancing, and learning! They can even do handstands and forward rolls all by themselves! 🌟

We also had Emily B performing at last weeks Gotta Sing show with SSPA Events. She took on the powerful ABBA ballad ‘The Winner Takes It All’.

Last week Poppy took to the Burnley Mechanics stage as Glinda from Wicked. She performed beautifully and with such brilliant characterisation 🎤 thank you SSPA Events for the amazing opportunity!

✨ CYD CONVENTION ✨

A huge well done to Emily S and Isabella H who last weekend, travelled to Sheffield for a full day at the CYD Dance Convention in Sheffield.

The took classes and workshops, browsed the stalls and watched some fabulous dance performances!

✨ FESTIVAL SUCCESS ✨

A huge congratulations to a selection of our festival team who attended the mkdancecompetition this weekend. This was our first time at this festival, and all the girls had a brilliant time! They also tried the dance challenges, which was brand new for us and we’re so proud that they all danced their hearts out and rose to the challenge!

We came away with:

We’re thrilled to have been announced as finalists for the Small Business Award for the second year running! We’re so proud to be recognised in the community for our hard work!

Everything we do at Pendle Academy is for our students - we care so deeply and it’s just lovely to be recognised for that!

We can’t wait for the awards evening…keep everything crossed for us!
