✨ MEET THE CAST - THE GLENARM CASTLE X BE UNIQUE THEATRE COLLABORATION AT CHRISTMAS 🎄

We feel incredibly privileged to be partnering with visitglenarmcastle as part of their very special Christmas experience this December! There’s been lots of fun and festive magic happening behind the scenes for our interactive storytelling performance … and we thought it was about time we introduced you to the wonderful actors bringing it all to life. ✨

🎭 MEET CLAIRE | MRS CLAUS

Claire is an established actor based in Northern Ireland, with over 25 years’ experience across theatre, television and radio. She trained at the prestigious Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin, and is a versatile performer known for her physical and comedic roles.

Her theatre credits include award-winning productions such as The Holy Holy Bus and the critically acclaimed Dancing Shoes, both performed to sell-out audiences at the Grand Opera House. Claire has worked extensively with theatre companies across the province and has appeared in HBO’s Game of Thrones, BBC drama Come Home and Give My Head Peace. She made her directorial debut in 2019 with The Nightshift Before Christmas.

Alongside acting, Claire founded Thrive Mindset and Performance Coaching , working internationally with individuals and corporate clients to help them realise their potential on and off the stage. She continues to enjoy performing whenever her schedule allows.

🎭 MEET ANNINA | HOLLY, THE ELF

Annina is a Belfast-based actor with experience in commercial work for television and theatre. Her recent theatre credits include the historical tour at Riddel’s Warehouse, One Saturday Before the War, Marjorie’s Dead at the Grand Opera House Studio, and Float, which she performed at The Flagey in Brussels and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Committed to developing her craft, Annina has undertaken a range of professional training, including fi***rm and tactical training for film and television, a three-day Complicité masterclass led by Joyce Henderson, and TCL Level 1 in Acting for Screen with Shelley Lowry Talent.

Most recently, Annina performed her co-devised piece The Plantin, an immersive children’s show combining physical theatre and puppetry, as part of the Fleadh.

✨ We’re so excited to see Claire and Annina bring their talent, creativity and festive spirit to Glenarm Castle this Christmas!

“Can my child just do the productions?” 🎭

It’s a question I was recently asked by a parent, and honestly, it came from a completely genuine place! ❤️

Productions are such an exciting part of what we do at Be Unique Theatre… BUT our masterclasses and workshops are where young performers build their skills, confidence and craft.

Then, when it’s time to step into a production, they have the opportunity to put that learning into practice. 🎭✨

If your child is aged 7–19 and would love to develop their acting and performance skills, we have upcoming Be Unique Theatre Masterclasses available, running from September - December in our studio in Coleraine.

Message us for more information or to secure a place! 📩

We believe learning and performing go hand in hand, and both are equally important parts of a young performer’s journey. ❤️
