The Winder Wimen Theatre Company are very sad to hear of the death of our dear friend Philip.. He was a lovely man and we will always be thankful for all his guidance during our time at the Riverside Theatre.
We send our love and thoughts to his family at this sad time.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Philip Bradshaw, a gentleman, friend and our talented lighting designer for over 20 years.

His beautiful lighting designs were praised, acknowledged and admired by many.
His designs were integral in winning many “Best technical” awards for both NODA and AIMS.

Philips support for Portrush Music Society was evident and mutual.

Philip will be sadly missed by everyone at Portrush Music Society.

We wish to offer our sincerest condolences to his family at this sad time.

I think we can honestly say we are very, very excited. The most fabulous thing has happened. Our wonderful playwright Joan Greening is writing a play just for us. This is such an honour and we thank her for putting her trust in us. Date and venue are to be confirmed. We have 3 musicals to perform in before then.

Introducing Brenda Tosh as Brenda Hulse in Calendar Girls the Musical.

Brenda is delighted to take part in this Northern Ireland and Irish amateur premier production for Portrush Music Society. In what has proved to be testing times for the Theatre, she is proud and excited to, once again, share the stage with this talented cast. Her role in Calendar Girls is also named, Brenda, and hopes that is where the similarity ends, as Brenda Hulse is the very boring guest speaker at the WI meeting!

MEET THE CAST OF CALENDAR GIRLS THE MUSICAL.
Introducing Maggie Ferris-Curran as Lady Cravenshire.
Maggie, who is currently our Vice chair, first joined our society in 2007 for the production of, ‘Titanic, The Musical.’ She became addicted sealing her love for the stage and Portrush Music Society. Maggie has made many friends and memories while performing in ‘Sister Act,’ ‘Oliver,’ ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ ‘Joseph,’ ‘Hello Dolly’ & many more. She will always be grateful to PMS for helping her build confidence on the stage, so much so that she auditioned successfully & performed in the ‘ALL IRELAND TALENT SHOW’ on RTE with Dana as her mentor. Maggie went on to host her own variety shows at the Riverside Theatre & Roe Valley.

Maggie is looking forward to feeling like royalty in her role as the elegant Lady Cravenshire who is judges the cake baking competition.

The show is full of laughter and emotion but the minute Maggie heard the music she fell in love with it. ‘Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.’ Lady Cravenshire is looking forward to seeing you all in February.
