With the_dark_arts_market tomorrow and me trying to cram as much work as I can into my toddlers nap I really didn’t have time to put on make up, or even brush my hair 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I had to make sure to snap a few pics of our new harlequin skirt. I will only have one with me as I was using up the last of my gingham (don’t worry more stock has been ordered) once it’s here I’ll definitely be making one for my self as well.

The skirt is made from 100% cotton fully French seamed with contrasting panels/ pockets/ belt loops of cotton drill and cotton gingham. This one is size 16, it is a big for me on the waist but that’s the great thing about belt loops.

I’m also thinking gingham in more colours than black and white? What do you think?

I think this is going to be the perfect skirt for the ‘berrr months 🍂🍁🍃

When I checked the weather forecast last week this week supposedly promised the storms my sole has been craving, a small sprinkling of rain over night was not what I was expecting or wanting. I wanted stand out in sheets of water spinning arms in the air as my clothes soaked through, I wanted to shiver and feel cold. I know we shouldn’t wish away the summer but I am truly a girl made for the colder seasons.

I am currently working on a lovely order for Caitlin cutting out our gingham stays 🖤✂️

A throw back to my outfit at last week’s market, this dress is a godsend in this heat! It’s 100% cotton so is really breathable, you will find no sticky sweaty polyester here and with big bellowing sleeves and body perfect for swishing and twirling in, and of course is the perfect base for styling with chunky belts, harnesses and corsets. 🖤🖤
