What an epic day we had, working on performance for our Convention songs with the wonderful Gaynor and Anna. Look out, Harrogate!
Tea and biscuits from Val and cakes by Sue and Caroline helped us keep the energy levels up.

It's just over 3 weeks to our concert in East Bergholt, where we'll be joined by Brightlingsea sea shanty singers Motley Crew. The concert is part of the village's Constable 250 celebrations.
We're working hard at rehearsal and are looking forward to sharing some new material as well as some favourites from our repertoire. Tickets are selling fast - don't miss out!

This Sunday, we are competing in the Colchester Rotary Club Festival of Music at 4.40pm and then (fingers crossed) we'll be singing again in the Gala Finale on Sunday evening. Why not pop along to hear some of our gorgeous harmonies?

Many congratulations to Irene (pictured right) who has been gracing our Tenor section with her amazing high notes for 20 years. To mark the occasion, she was presented with a certificate by our MD Gaynor. Irene's reaction? "Time flies when you're having fun, and here's to the next 20 years..."

The leaves may be brown and the sky may be grey, but Chorus Iceni was California Dreamin' as 21 visitors joined us for our Come and Sing event to learn this iconic song - which is 60 years old this year, can you believe? We had a brilliant day and we're hoping some of our visitors have caught the barbershop bug and will want to join us!!
