The set is coming together, we are working on it this bank holiday weekend, the costumes are all made on the rail ready to wheel into the green room, the lines are learnt 🎭

Rehearsals are going really well for our next production, the set is up and painting it will be over the next weekend. It’s all getting very exciting

Our next production, which opens in less than five weeks’ time — the comedy whodunnit, Murder in Play by Simon Brett.

Preparations are already underway:
• Plans for the set are taking shape
• Props are being assembled
• Lines are being learned
• Entrances and exits are being carefully rehearsed

By opening night everything will be perfectly in place. The curtain will rise and the mystery will begin. But in a comedy whodunnit… things don’t always go quite to plan, do they!

YES — what could possibly go wrong? 😬

An enormous thank you to everyone who came to watch our sellout Pantomime Aladdin 🧞‍♂️
We loved hearing you laughter, booing, arhhing, cheering & especially when you joined in with the singing
We fed off your energy with great enthusiasm

We hope you enjoyed your time with us and that we gave you a joyful evening out in January

We look forward to entertaining you in May 2026 🎭

🧞‍♂️It’s Aladdin Panto week 🧞‍♂️

Those who are local, are probably aware of the road closure in Earls Colne, however if you don’t or are coming from further afield here’s what you need to know…

Depending on what side of Earls Colne Church you are, you can get to us via Earls Colne through Station Road, Colne Engaine, through Mill Lane or Halstead, through Brook Street

Please be careful
We’ve had a lot of rain, so pot holes can be hidden in puddles, also the streams and rivers have/had come over the banks, some have now receded but there is lots of debris on the roads

Most importantly please be mindful to drive slowly for the communities that live down these roads, to keep these country lanes as safe as possible for everyone to still be able to use 🚗

We wish you all a safe journey to and from us and whilst you are in our care we promise to make it a colourful, exciting and fun evening, full of traditional pantomime laughter 🎭
