Happy Tuesday guys here are a selection of my beautifully professionally taken photos in the photography studio at Colchester Institute life sized sculptural silicone blue based figure I wanted to challenge myself make a sculptural figure my height make it look like a person a parental figure holding a baby to be precise It took like four months from August to November 2017 and then in mid November I organised booking to photograph it as I wanted some professional photos of it as they always so well the photos of my art in the photography studio and I could get some of the photos blown up to use to submit later on down the line so it was a win win and Chris again helped create the shadow effect for me helping me to get what I wanted it was great and with my red figures practically to make with my dad’s help thanks to him as it’s a long technical process I couldn’t of made it on my own no way and my red resin figures together and separately enjoy I love how I got the shadows effective again creating this idea that they have this other friend next to them but it’s only just their reflection but it’s not physically real to touch but you can see it so it’s like a invisible but visible friend combined together so it’s really interesting shadows to me in my art photos you maybe have seen I really like them they create more layers and shape and a narrative story which is what my work it about Also I really how I included my red figures as the red and blue work so effectively together and they have their Christmas knitted scarfs on which makes them even more cute I love them!!!! If I did another life sized sculptural figure it would be in red of course!! ➡️

Here are my four red resin made original sculptural figures in my new third year studio space corner back in September 2016 I had gotten and carried on using into my final and fourth year since going part time alongside this red box I got and some loose drawings I had drawn shame though it’s filtered though I used to filter a lot of my photos now I don’t as I want to just portray myself and my friends artwork realistically and honestly and not be fake. I love the red though of course so enjoy it’s so freaking cute I think!!!!

Sorry I didn’t end up posing this last night was late to posting yesterday so here it on Monday now!!! A younger pretty looking me here with my mum and dad here in June 2014 as a Colchester Institute Fine Art Foundation student at the end of year show next to my final piece of artwork displayed suspended hung up my sculptural shaped sculptures inspired by the great female artist whose sculptural installations are bold and fearless using various objects and I liked how she created from my perspective particularly this illusion vibe type effect like one of her installations in particular titled #1988 to #89 appeared to me like it wasn’t suspended at all also the sculptures were made from materials I had found in the recycling centre at Colchester Institute which I hashtag below so I guess it was like inspired by also the great female artist as her sculptural installations are made from reused everyday materials!!!!!! ➡️ 🎨 📷 😁💗😁😍😁😘😁😘🖕😎🖕😎

Heya guys happy Monday here’s one of myself with my last year exhibited upstairs on the private view opening evening on the 9th of September for the titled theme ‘BROKE’ exhibition I thought you would like to see this one featuring myself again with my beautiful red artwork as I’m the red queen lol this piece I was trying to make cheaply using used clothing from the house to stuff the inside parts which are detachable which for the theme broke and making it interactive for the audience of it instead of traditional stuffing and the red fabric bought locally in my local town in a fabric shop as I had previously spend more money on materials like silicone in particular which is so expensive and hard looking appearing to the audience from what my fellow art student friends peers tutor has said in critiques from showing my life sized sculptural made silicone figure so I took this on board also wanted this one to be like a friendlier softer gentle piece of art like a cushion you want to hold and hug which is comforting creating it in the shape of one of my little resin figures too with my mums help mainly to be honest thanks so much mum as I had the idea but needed help to make it using the spring machine whilst it was snowing this month last year in February I had some days off from being at university as it was closed.

Here I am Ross Nicola Evie Kat Hollie Tim Asha who wasn’t on the Colchester Institute Art foundation course but who is a close school friend of mine I invited also who came to my tennis so it was a art performance Gillian Wearing style I did I made this sign I thought it’s a catchy bold phase also with the date I wrote it below as I love to date my work if anyone knows me always date it I liked so let’s make art of it and ourselves I guess got a load of the gang I wanted to play a tennis match I thought why not gearing up to the summer once we finished let’s play celebrate with a game of tennis which I had previously talked to some of the gang about and they liked and then to get us holding it photographed with it also just to add Liam Joe Morgan too were involved but didn’t make it in this selection as it’s 10 you can only select this way turns out not everyone did make it to the tennis oh well but it was awesome anyway with wonderful company and bring it on this year as it’s become yearly event the regular squad love it!!!!! Tried to photograph all of them against that yellow wall as it’s looked so effective against the pink paper and black written sign but didn’t oh well!!! The hashtags are below....... ➡️
