For one weekend in August, Lower Castle Park will sizzle with the smell and sound of the barbecue. We’re talking buckets of marinade slathered over the meat using mops. A five-course tasting menu celebrating exceptional seasonal ingredients over coals, where live fire finesse meets smoke.

🔥 3.00pm — Māori Chef Mat Blak
An inspired live-fire experience drawing on Māori flavours, ingredients and traditions, with a menu created around the earth, fire and food as a gift.

Step inside Ember Lounge for an intimate live-fire chef’s table experience, with each session showcasing a unique menu cooked over fire.
