Wonderful to be in a school today for and a beautiful space to tell stories it is. We have had clever grandma's, tenacious tortoises and swampy trolls and it has been a delight to tell with the children at Roach Vale Primary. Having spent most of the week battling flu (yep proper aches & fever) story really does prove to be the best medicine!

So that's a wrap! My first Panto is done and I couldn't have asked for a better cast and crew to share it with. Thank you Show Up Panto & all involved. It's been a tiring and full on since before Christmas, but it has reminded me of why I loved acting - the feeling of company. Don't get me wrong, I love storytelling, but it can be lonely. To work as part of a company has been a real blessing and I shall miss it. Now I put my storytelling hat back on and head to Victory Park in Ashford for stories of trees at their waisaill event. Looking forward to a different kind of company today.

What an amazing 4 Days at The Hive with Steps Ahead Life. It has been magical to perform in Once Upon A Wish with Laura, Viv, Mike Dodsworth & George Bassett. There have been so many special moments, being in nature as the light disappears definitely one, but most of all it's been working with such generous and lovely people. Watch out for the return of Badger, Weasel, Mouse, Owl and, The Gardener in the Spring!

Today is the Feast Day of Santa Lucia - the festival of lights, bringing hope and radiance at the darkest time of year. Very apt as Steps Ahead Life prepare for the first show of 'Once Upon A Wish' at The Hive tomorrow. A magical Midwinter show for young and old alike! Tickets still available.
