An afternoon of live music on Walton Pier as part of Between the Tides Walton Arts Festival

As part of Between the Tides 2026 we bring to you…..

THE DODGEMS STAGE - an exciting Sunday afternoon of FREE live music on Walton Pier

featuring:

4.00pm Lost Atlas - an alternative indie-rock four-piece band.

3.00pm Hobo Chang - a band that blends a mix of roots, reggae, dub, blues, jazz, prog, and rock. Legendary punk poet John Cooper Clarke is famously a massive fan of the group.

2.00pm Band of Fools - a collective of musicians who blend Klezmer and Balkan Folk with hints of swing and jazz.

1.00pm Distorted Model - a five-piece dreampop band who create atmospheric textures, ethereal vocals, and melodic, immersive soundscapes.

12.00pm The Sunraze - an emerging punk rock band.

Festival Volunteers

Can you help us at this year's Festival?

Reminder that we have a volunteers' meeting tonight: Wednesday 2nd September 6.30pm at The Nose, 28 Newgate Street, CO14 8AL.

We are looking for volunteers to help at ‘Between the Tides’ Walton Arts Festival between Thursday 17th and Sunday 20th September 2026.

Event volunteer slots are 4 hours long, and jobs include setting up and stewarding events, providing information, litter picking and joining in.

One of the first away gigs we did was with Evy Frearson + Lost Atlas + Distorted Model at Coda in Colchester.

It was Evy Frearson’s debut gig with a band too.

Two years later they will all be playing over the weekend - this time slightly closer to home at Between the Tides Walton Arts Festival
