Visited the lovely new cafe and garden centre Wild Ginger Homestead Kitchen & Garden today on Mersea opposite Tescos. Great selection of plants and lots of delicious homemade cakes and the breakfast is good too in the cafe, with excellent coffee. Can highly recommend. Jade Welsh has some great ideas going forward so go take a look.

Just a few days away until the new exhibition starts. A collection of work from two artists based around the natural world found on the estuary. This work by and will be on display for 3 weeks so do come and have a look for yourself 😍.

Come and have a go at making your very own Floral disc in an embroidery hoop, in this live workshop at the lovely NO 4 West Mersea on Sunday 8th 10-4pm , due to a cancellation I have a space left.
You’ll go through transparency and bonding techniques , painting floral motif and a spot of simple machine embroidery .
