As we bid farewell to another year, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared at Three Wise Monkeys Colchester. In 2025, we proudly hosted over 300 + events, each one a celebration of music, laughter, and community.

From welcoming chart-topping artists to providing a stage for emerging bands to play their first gigs, every moment has been a testament to the vibrant spirit of our venue. We’ve had sold-out club nights, delightful food tasting events, unforgettable Tributes, grand comedy nights, and dazzling drag extravaganzas, each contributing to the rich tapestry of experience that we offer.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the artists who graced our stage, all the promoters who have used our venue, our door team and security and the TWM staff who serve you your pints.

Behind the scenes, our small but mighty team of just two, manages promotions, graphics, production, logistics and more.

It’s a labour of love, navigating the complexities of logistics to bring these events to life. While we may appear to be a bustling hub, we remain an independently owned business, navigating the challenges of the hospitality industry with resilience and dedication.

And to you, our cherished patrons, thank you for choosing to support us. Whether you come to enjoy the music, indulge in the atmosphere, or simply share a moment with friends, your presence means the world to us. Sometimes you pay to support the bands, sometimes you pay for the privilege of a great night out, and sometimes you come for free—but every visit is a choice we deeply appreciate.

As we look ahead to 2026, It’s set to@be the biggest yet.

🚪 Venue Entry: Access to all participating venues is on a first come, first served basis. Once a venue reaches capacity, entry will be on a one in, one out basis. If there’s a band you really want to see, we recommend arriving early, as entry cannot be guaranteed once capacity is reached.

TWM Live and partners are hosting its BOTB event to support our forever Growing grassroots music scene as part of Independent Venue Week 2026., and we want YOU to showcase your talent!

- Heat 2: January 27, 2026 - PULSE
- Heat 3: January 28, 2026 - GREEBO
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:45 PM (No under 18s after 9:00 PM)
💷 Ticket Price: £4 (includes £1 donation to the Brightlingsea Free Festival)
