🌟 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR HEAT 10 WINNER: MERCEDES! 🌟

​Mercedes absolutely smashed the Teddy Swims classic Lose control in Walkabout Colchester last night to secure that final spot in the grand final! What a way to close out the heats.

Mercedes SnoOkie Campbell previously qualified for The Horse & Well Final which is this Saturday, but unfortunately Mercedes is away on a hen do and can't make it, so enterered the final heat tonight and she waltzed straight into the final.

​The heats are officially complete, and our lineup of powerhouses is locked in.

​📢 NOTICE TO ALL FINALISTS: KWC 2026 JUDGING CRITERIA

​Per the Karaoke World Championships (KWC) 2026 standards, you will be judged on two primary categories (10 points each, for a max total of 20 per song).

​Voice & Technique (10 Points):
Mastery of your instrument! We are looking for vocal quality, breathing, timing, pitch, and clarity.

​Artistry & Stage Presence (10 Points):
This is where you bring the "X-Factor." Show us your confidence, emotional connection, and your ability to move the audience!
​Top Tip: Scores are given in full-point increments only. To keep it fair, the highest and lowest scores from the panel are often discarded—consistency is key!

​Finalists, this is your moment! Bring your friends, your family, and every supporter you can conjure up. A massive crowd, loud cheers, and thunderous clapping can often be the "X-Factor" that tips the scales in your favor. World Karaoke Championships
Heat 2 winner in The Horse & Well, Woodford Green, Essex region last night was Greg singing You To Me are Everything by The Real Thing. See you in the Final Greg.

Heat 3 is NEXT SATURDAY 4th April.
Each Heat winner in this venue wins a bottle of Prosecco. A Place in the Final to win £250 and a place in the Essex Regional Final to win another £250.

Next step is the UK Final in Oxford.
Win the UK Final and you are then in the World Final competing against another 60 countries from all around the world.

This is the biggest Karaoke competition in the world right now, so if you have what it takes to be a World Champion, we want to see you soon. If you know of somebody who you feel has that star quality, please share this post with them or simply tag them in the comments below.

Team 4PK have an exciting announcement to be made later this week once we have received all the details. All I can say for now is that Team 4PK are so proud that myself, Maximo Sings, El Lewis, Andy Rustman , Hugh Fitz, Tyler D'Brass and Albert have all been given the exclusive rights to host the biggest Karaoke competition in the world.

We have been selected to represent Essex this year and our job is to find a winner from a few of our venues from Colchester, Clacton, Chelmsford and Southend.

Each of the chosen venues yet to be announced, will have a competition with 2 winners chosen to go through to the Essex Area Final. The winner from that final will then go through to the UK Final. Should our Essex winner win the UK Final too, they will be flown somewhere around the world which I'm told will probably be somewhere in Europe this year. Flights and accomodation will all be paid for. I'm not sure on the prize money yet, but I'd expect it to be somewhere around the same as last year which was £5,000 prize money for Solo Male, Solo Female and for a duo, as well as studio time to record your winning songs in a top recording studio and most importantly, be crowned the 2026 Karaoke Champion of the World. How good does that sound?

This is no Mickey Mouse competition. This is absolutely huge and something that I know me and all the 4Play Karaoke Team are all very excited about and can not wait to get this up and running ASAP.
