We offer Bharatanatyam classes in Colchester for children and adults. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to continue your training, our classes offer a structured and joyful approach to learning the beautiful classical art form.

Sharing a few glimpses from Tapobhanga, presented at our annual student showcase - Mukulam 2026.

What began as a random idea slowly grew into a full 50-minute stage production, and seeing it come alive before an audience was truly magical. The energy of the performance, the warmth of the audience response, and the many kind words that followed have left us deeply grateful.

This production was possible only because of the collective effort of many wonderful people.

To all the dancers — from our tiniest performers to the senior artists — thank you for your dedication, discipline, and love for the art.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who supported the journey through rehearsals, costumes, and the many hours that go into creating a production like this.

Special appreciation to our lighting and technical team - Media People whose work created the beautiful atmosphere that brought every scene to life on stage. Thank you for the amazing photos too!

Heartfelt thanks to Jayan V Narayanan mash whose artistry transformed us beautifully and brought authenticity to the characters.

We thank our production house Thes2productions and are also deeply grateful to the many collaborators who contributed to the music, narration, costumes, props, and the countless details behind the scenes that made this production possible.

Tapobhanga was truly a collective effort, and we are thankful to everyone who helped bring it to life.

✨ One Week to Go! ✨

The countdown begins for MUKULAM 2026 - The Bhadram School of Dance annual student showcase and TAPOBHANGA - our dance production that journeys through longing, loss, awakening, and renewal. This production is inspired by the extraordinary poetry of Sri Rabindranath Tagore.

It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful for every single person who has helped shape this journey.

The excitement is building, the costumes are ready, the music is echoing in our minds… and we are counting down the days.

See you soon for Mukulam & Tapobhanga. We can’t wait to share it with you.
