Yesterday job was installing and setting up some new equipment for a customer of ours, this included Kh keeper, 2 x ph probes, 1 x single doser, 1 x 4 channel doser, Temp controller and 5 AI blades, all supplied, installed and programmed! Whilst we have our set days of the week/month for all our regular maintenance customers, we can also carry out 1 off maintenance visits as we did for this customer who’s currently away, this maintenance visit included

- 50L salt water change.
- KH keeper re calibration and reagent refill.
- Reef factory Doser recalibration.
- smart Roller inspection (it kept getting blocked according to the app)
- clean reactors and replacement Media in reactors ROWA Phos and Carbon.
- clean glass.
- inspection of all other equipment to make sure it’s running as it should while they are away

Yesterdays job during our maintenance visit was to clean and modify the sump for a new Reef factory smart roller to be installed, replacing lots of sponges and floss found in the clearair sumps, definitely a squeeze but we made it work! Custom aquarium install and setup today, this aquarium which is 72x22x30 inches was made to fit into a separate room of the customers work shop, a true retirement project! Was abit difficult getting it into place with some distance between the drive and the work shop and some tight corners but it’s in place and looking absolutely amazing, the customer made his stand and his background and definitely over engineered it but that’s perfect! Lights to go on later this week but it’s looking awesome even without that, this will be a fish only system so looking forward to getting some cool fish in there

This afternoons job, Red Sea max nano strip down and re**er 170 upgrade, the 170 was going in the same place as the nano so needed to be stripped down and moved before the 170 could be set up, so we did just that! The couple soft corals and fish added to the 170 with atm colony, the vast amount of bio media out of the max nano will be a great start to the 170 due to a new rock scape being added! One of this week just gones job, reef factory kh keeper plus, doser and power switcher instal, this is to run in combination with the customers deltec twin tech calcium reactor for ultimate stability, limited space in the cabinet means we had to mount in on the door! You need any equipment installing? Let us know!

One of this weeks job was a aquarium strip down, sump and equipment upgrade for this aqua one reefsys 326 aquarium, the customer really wanted to improve their aquarium by running a reefmat, unfortunately it wouldn’t fit in there aqua one sump, so we swapped out the not so great aqua one sump for a shiny new Red Sea re**er 350 sump which fits in the cabinet a dream, can easily house all their existing equipment, plus a lovely new reefmat😍, as well as that, we removed their old crush coral sand which they had set their aquarium up with when purchasing from another store (we don’t recommend crushed coral sand) the crushed coral sand wasn’t really that suitable for their current and future tank inhabitants and we replaced it with some lovely caribsea live sand! All in all a host of upgrades and improvements for this customer and their reef aquarium! Feel free to contact us to see if we can do anything to improve your aquarium!
