Oh what a glorious day... As if there isn't enough drama going on at Wayfarers Theatre, this little chap ambled into a rehearsal 2 months ago.
He was just a baby and had likely left the nest because Mum hadn't come home. We took him to an amazing rehab in Maryport where Queen of the Hedgehogs ✨️Michelle✨️ looked after him and fed him lots of tasty treats until he was big and strong and old enough to continue his adventure.
Today I picked up him and his new GIRLFRIEND (wow this boy moved quick) They are being soft released back home at Wayfarers and will finally taste freedom (and other buggy critters) in a week when I open their enclosure to the great wide world 🌳
A huge thank you to Michelle for trusting her babies to us to look after, she's raised a real gentleman. It is very magical to receive this little creature and bring him home (should I say large chunky creature!?)
Welcome home Falstaff, we hope you and Mistress Ford settle into your new accommodation and enjoy your honeymoon 🦔🦔
Thought it very important to share the hedgehog joy with as many as possible, today was such a very good day

PS - Healthy hedgehogs are faster and stronger than you might expect. Sonic makes so much more sense now I've had a spiky beast leg it up my arms towards my face 🙃😆
