In my contemporary landscape paintings, I draw inspiration from serene walks on Hampstead Heath and the golden hour’s transformative light. This fleeting moment, when warm tones of gold, amber, and soft rose blur the boundaries between sky, land, and water, captivates me.
I focus on how light alters the atmosphere, where forms dissolve under its intensity, creating a unity that feels both expansive and intimate. Through careful layering of fine glazes, I capture the profound impact of weather on colour, inviting viewers to engage deeply with each scene.
