We have an amazing Joe Satriani Peavey amp along with Valvekings and a splendid Fender Mustang. Our bass amps consist of Ampeg, Laney heads and cabs, Hartke heads and Warwick cabinets. As for kits we have aan amazing Pearl Decade a Yamaha St
age Custom and a Tama Imperialstar . We have a variety of cymbals should you need to hire them. For your vocal pleasure we have Shure, SE and Sennheiser mics. Recording:
We have a full Protools rig with 24 in from our main live room. We use a C24 integrated desk and have a plethora of plug-ins and equipment for you to use. Whether you want a whole album, just your drums tracks or even just a good stereo recording from your rehearsal, Transmission Room recording can provide a great service and a good price. We have AKG drum mics, various condensers including SE Electronics, Sennheiser, Shure, Rode, MXR, AKG, Audio-technica etc. Please contact us for rates on recording as we have various options available and you can even bring your own engineer should you wish. Transmission Room is run by musicians and engineers. Our aim is to provide facilities that we would want to use and record in. We do a 1Kw PA rig with 24 channel desk, mics, cabling etc. The price start at £70 for 24 hours. We recommend you call us to discuss your needs. FULL COSTS JAN 2024
REHEARSALS:
Weekdays before 6pm £8.00 per hour
Weekdays after 6pm £12.00 per hour or £33.00 for 3 hrs
Weekends £12.00 per hour or £33.00 for 3 hours
Students of GCC Sound Production receive a 10% discount
Drummers or singers only also receive a discount
Block bookings paid in advance receive a discount (i.e 4 rehearsals £120 instead of £132)
RECORDINGS:
Full day/Full band recording £300.00/£280.00 (regular rehearsers)
Recording full band £35.00 per hour
Vocals only to backing track £30.00
We are always happy to discuss ‘deals’ with bands. For example if you are an acoustic act or wish to book multiple days. MIXING/MASTERING:
All mixing and mastering £35.00 per hour
VIDEO LIVE SHOOTS:
3 song live video shoot from £375.00
LIVE GIG RECORDING:
