Lobey doser Mural Partick Glasgow 😍 painted by the awesome street Artist

A much-loved cartoon character from the 1940s and 50s, his nemesis was Rank Bajin, seated behind.

Lobey Dosser was sheriff of Calton Creek, a fictitious place in Arizona full of Scottish immigrants. He and Elfie, his trusty two-legged steed El Fideldo, protected Calton Creek from the nefarious activities of Rank Bajin. Penned entirely in Glasgow dialect, the cartoon was probably a mystery to ‘outsiders’.
