Stretching!!! Flexibility is so important in dance, it helps:

💜 Reduce injury
💜 Promote stability within a joint and alignment
💜 Improves technique in movement
💜 Improves aesthetic and line

However, at Dance HQ, we understand that not all bodies are the same! Every child's range of movement is different and will develop at different times. Over stretching and poor alignment will result in damaging children's bodies 🥺 We always educate our dancers in the importance of safety!

Strong controlled flexibility is taught over years by highly educated teachers ❤️
