🐝 **The bees are getting ready for winter at Waddow Hall! 🍂**

As the seasons change and autumn settles in, our busy little residents are preparing for the colder months ahead. 🌿

While we might be reaching for our cosy jumpers and hot drinks, the bees have their own winter preparations to take care of! 🐝

Honeybees work hard to store enough honey to keep the colony fed, and as temperatures drop, they cluster together inside the hive to keep warm and protect their queen. It’s a brilliant example of teamwork, planning ahead and looking after one another. 💛

Although things may look a little quieter around the hives over winter, there’s still plenty going on inside!

We love seeing the changing seasons at Waddow Hall and the important role our bees play in supporting local wildlife and pollinating the plants around us. 🌼

📸 Here’s a little glimpse of our hives as they get ready for winter!
