I couldn't think of a better photographer duo to thank on my last 2024 Photographer Friday posts than my own wedding photographers Lulu and Scott who shot at Walton Castle, Clevedon

What I love about their style of photography is that they work so good together to catch the wonderful little moments without being in the way for us to enjoy those moments. I am a huge lover of gardening so much so that I wanted to use all my own garden flowers for my wedding. Growing them was the easy part but setting them up took a village of the best of friends and family.

Lulu and Scott like to keep their photos bright and vibrant which I really appreciated with all the flowers that I used, especially as we had such a grey sky on the day. It is a testament of their skills and editing to make sure that everything I wanted really stood out in our photos.

"We use non intrusive methods to ensure everyone is comfortable throughout the day. Always prioritising you.

We are natural light photographers, after working with rock bands and weddings with epileptics where flash was not an option we found that we can produce even more stunning imagery without the need to blind everyone killing the dancefloor or taking you out of the moment during the ceremony. We only use them when absolutely necessary.

Our pre wedding quiz lets you define your comfort zone, putting you in control of whether we capture you candid only, staged or posed.. If romance isn't your dance there are plenty of bangers we can rock out to."

“What an unforgettable weekend at Walton Castle! We gathered for a very special triple celebration — my 50th birthday, my sister’s 40th, and our uncle’s 80th — and it truly could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate together. From the youngest family member aged 2 right through to 80 years old, everyone had an absolutely fantastic time.

The castle itself is simply magical, with breathtaking surroundings and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. My sister transformed the dining room beautifully with bunting and lanterns, creating the perfect setting for family meals and celebrations together. One of the highlights was enjoying live music performed by our own talented family members in the party turret — such a unique and memorable experience that made the weekend feel even more special.

The pool was a huge hit with all ages, bringing lots of laughter and fun throughout the weekend, and the delicious pizzas from Angus Murray’s wood-fired pizza van were enjoyed by everyone.

A huge thank you to Margarita, Mandy and Carly for being so helpful, efficient and accommodating throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything ran so smoothly.

This was actually our second family party at Walton Castle, and after another incredible stay, I think we may well have started a family tradition. We are already looking forward to returning!”
