The face of - Chef Chris.

Each one of your compliments and praise gets passed to Chris, which makes him smile widely and have a quiet pride as this is all he's ever wanted - to make people a nice bit of dinner.

Chris started making pizza dough and playing around with making pizzas many moons ago when the children were little. Starting off with a chimnea, moving onto building his own pizza oven in our garden out of a steel drum and fire bricks and then mastering the craft under the wonderful Andy from the Blue Flame Inn for three years until he was given the opportunity, one year ago, to go it alone at the (don't worry, Chris & Andy are still very firm mates & often chat everything dough and pizza at 'pizza club') - which brings us to now.

However, homemade artisan Neopolitan pizzas are just the beginning and Chris isn't stopping there!

Next step - we are going mobile! Think wood fired ovens, fairy lights & candles, chilled vibes, a beautiful trailer built by Chris (who is a joiner by trade), puffy crusts, cheese pulls (it's a thing apparently, who knew? 🤷🏼‍♀️) and big flavours. We will be aiming to support as many local business's as possible & are very keen to get involved in as many community and charity events as we can to support them. Private events are so welcome too! We should be ready to rock by August 2026 so if you have any enquiries, just drop us a message on our socials or 07804 833345. We will still be at The Riff Corner every Tuesday and Friday so you still get your pizza fix!

are also keen to collab with other small local (or not so local) businesses to create fusion pizzas which will push boundaries on traditional Neopolitan flavours and invite taste buds to be tickled with new flavour combinations. The brilliant Lee McCrory is back on stage tonight at The Riff Corner
Hailing from Chepstow, Lee is a well-known face on the Bristol and South Wales music scene, bringing his unmistakable blend of acoustic blues, folk and “gypsy skankblues” — all wrapped up with soulful harmonica, gritty storytelling and those trademark howling vocals
Influenced by artists including Tom Waits, Bob Marley, Dylan and Justin Sullivan, Lee’s performances are raw, energetic and completely unique
A long-time live favourite, he’s shared stages across the region and built a loyal following with his powerful acoustic sound
