COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION
There are so many of us working locally, small businesses and individuals. We already have coordinators and organisers like , the Sunday Market, Clevedon Collective and of course Clevedon's own website .
We intend to create an active network run by local creatives, that will work alongside, with, for, promoting, this growing, thriving creative community.
CONNECTIONS
Right now, our purpose is to start that hub, bringing us together and connecting us.
We want to start gathering people virtually here, but also organise meetups (for us) and events (for our wider community).
CREATE A PROFILE
Our main focus is to promote and identify the creative work happening - including events already running - but also to spread awareness in our community of local creative businesses. We want to draw together the various threads in a useful way, to connect us for community over competition.
CLEVEDON CREATIVES
We aim to create an identifiable group of working artists, makers and creatives, all living and working in our local area.
We hope to be able to create - and then raise - the profile of creativity in Clevedon, through meetups for ourselves, and events for the wider community.
