Clee Academy of Dance is the No.1 dance school in Cleethorpes and North East Lincolnshire, with over 35 years experience of teaching dance to local children. The school offers tuition in Ballet, Modern Theatre Tap and Gymnastics, with adult classes in Tap and Ballet Examinations are taken with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). We have two fully eq

uipped and insured dance studios on Conyard Road in Cleethorpes. All teachers hold recognised dance teaching qualifications and are all DBS checked.

🎭✨ In Musical Theatre, we do so much more than just sing!
Our classes focus on building confidence, developing acting skills, and helping performers become true triple threats. Through exploration games, creative activities, and performance techniques, students learn how to bring characters and stories to life.
This term, we're exploring improvisation in acting and discovering how to use volume, expression, and vocal technique when singing. We'll be working with songs from popular musicals the children already know and love, alongside exciting new material—and sometimes we'll even create and write our own!
A fun, creative space where confidence grows and talent shines. 🌟

Many thanks to Fishbone Theatre Company for an amazing workshop.

During the half term break our students had the exciting opportunity to take part in a drama workshop that proved to be both inspiring and memorable. Throughout the session, students explored creativity, teamwork, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.
The workshop leaders encouraged everyone to step outside their comfort zones through a variety of interactive activities, improvisation exercises, and performance challenges. It was wonderful to see students growing in confidence as they worked together, shared ideas, and brought characters and stories to life.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the day was watching students develop important skills such as communication, collaboration, and resilience. Many students surprised themselves with their creativity and willingness to participate, and the positive energy in the room was contagious.

The workshop reminded us of the power of drama to inspire confidence, encourage imagination, and build connections. We are incredibly proud of how enthusiastically our students embraced the experience, and we hope to provide more opportunities like this in the future.

A huge thank you to the workshop facilitators for delivering such an engaging and motivating session.
