✨ TECHNIQUE FOUNDATIONS ✨
Introducing a brand new class for our Senior School dancers this September.
Technique Foundations has been created to give our high school-age dancers the opportunity to develop the technical foundations that underpin so many styles of dance.
The class will focus on elements of the UKA Ballet, Tap & Jazz syllabus, developing technique, strength, control, flexibility, musicality and performance quality.
For dancers considering pursuing dance at college or university, having a strong technical foundation can be incredibly important. Many further education dance courses require students to have a good grounding in ballet and other technical disciplines, and this class is designed to help bridge that gap. 🤍
But you don't have to want a career in dance to benefit from Technique Foundations.
Strong technique can help dancers in every style, from commercial and contemporary to musical theatre, jazz, lyrical and beyond.
Whether you're preparing for further dance training, working towards recognised qualifications, looking to improve your existing styles, or simply wanting to become a stronger and more confident dancer, this class is for you.
