Rita is being played by Sharon Sully.

Sharon is a member of both the Priory and Talisman Theatres in Kenilworth, as well as being the marketing manager for the Talisman.
She has been found shining on stage in a variety of different roles over the years, and makes her directing debut later on this year!

Frank is played by Stuart Lawson.
Stuart is a long time member and bar licensee of the Priory Theatre in Kenilworth. He is well known for being both on stage acting as well as off-stage directing.

Act 1 and Act 2 now blocked! Sharon Sully and Stuart Lawson are creating some amazing theatre as Frank and Rita in the YPI+ production of 'Educating Rita'. Tonight we rehearsed for the first time at Dorothea Mitchell Hall working alongside producer Rach DaVis and director Pete Davis. Make sure you get your tickets early for this heartfelt and emotional play.

Since it opened in 1980, Educating Rita has won awards and has remained a widely studied text that is constantly in production throughout the world.
W***y Russell’s classic is a two-person play set entirely within the office of the university lecturer, Frank. It follows the journey of a twenty-nine-year-old hairdresser, Rita, as she returns to education via the Open University with the help of a given-up, reluctant, alcoholic Frank. The play shows their two very different worlds collide and combine.

YPI+ production directed by Pete Davis, has Sharon Sully playing the eccentric, Liverpudlian Rita and Stuart Lawson as the well-read, lecturer Frank.
