It’s almost time for the next monthly market at Y Clos, LLAETH PRESELI • MOAT GRANGE FARM. Pop along Sunday 28th June 10-2 for lovely fresh local produce. I will be launching my new Llaeth Preseli milk soap range, half bars and mini soaps will be available too. Pick up some fresh eggs, wonderful jams and chutneys, veg and fruit boxes from Sue Payne and gorgeous meats from Carla Thomas. A busy weekend in store. Saturday 30th May I will be at Oriel y Parc, St David’s all day. And Sunday, Y Clos at Llaeth Preseli for the 2nd Farmer’s Market.

I had a bit of a disaster with making my Beach soap (see 2nd pic). The battery thickened really fast so instead of my usual layers I had to pivot and do an in the pot swirl. This fragrance is tricky to work with because it accelerates and rices (soapmakers will know what I'm on about), but it smells wonderful so it's worth the extra effort. Anyway, I'm so pleased with the outcome I'm wondering if this design is actually more appealing. What do you think? Would you prefer the first or second one in your bathroom?

As this was a custom order I have made it again and thankfully I managed to tame the naughty fragrance 😁
