Here’s what we have to offer for Tap:

👞 Grade 3 Tap – Wednesday @ 4:40pm
✨ Adult Tap – Wednesday @ 7:50pm
🌟 Senior Tap – Thursday @ 6:20pm
🌸 Prep Tap – Saturday @ 9:30am
🎀 Grade 1 Tap – Saturday @ 12:10pm
💫 Grade 2 Tap – Saturday @ 2:00pm

Tap is full of rhythm, energy, and fun – it builds coordination, musicality, and performance skills while letting dancers make some serious noise! From our youngest tappers to our fabulous adults, there’s something for everyone.

Ahh the summer is over and we are now looking towards the next season. Bit of a social media overhaul will be coming over the next few weeks. In the meantime...had to reshare one of the props we made for Shrek, always makes us giggle and was so effective onstage!

We are proud to share that Clacton Musical Theatre Society has been nominated for the Peter Jones Award for Technical Achievement for the Lighting of Rock of Ages by the North Essex Theatre Guild along with many other fantastic nominations! We are Extremely proud as M.P.P was responsible for that lighting design. Working at our home the Princes Theatre Whilst we would have loved to set up a Queen style "pizza oven' rig, we worked with a tight budget, time frame and limited space, we were able to provide 1980's style lighting for each scene with modern equipment.

Another " Bitchin" review of our lighting for Clacton Musical Theatre Society Rock of Ages!

Clacton Musical Theatre Society have recieved their NODA review and as expected, it was excellent! Special credit goes to MPP'S Lighting Designer who worked with CMTS for this show. NODAs review praised the seamless scene changes made by the stage crew on a stage that couldnt hide behind the usual curtains due to the scaffold set with "Clever use of lighting and spots aided the scene changes"

Oooh how exciting! We have just picked up materials for our next project! Plus some free samples of tubing! Funny to think that my nan used to buy foam and clear tubing from here when I was a kid as it was just round the corner from where we lived and now it's one of our favourite suppliers!
